A Pink member, Hong Yoo Kyung was the fifth member to be revealed through A Cube Entertainment’s official Twitter account. She was introduced through a video of her playing the piano skillfully. Check the video here!

Hong Yoo Kyung was born in Seoul to a wealth family. She has older brother and her nicknames include francheska, wooyu (milk), tofu. She studied in in Busok elementary school, Sehwa’s girls’ middle school, Hyundai High School. She is currently continuing her High School in the Seoul Performing Arts High School. She stayed in the USA for 2 years making her one of the members who are good in English

Hong Yoo Kyung is a daughter from a wealthy family. Her father is a representative of DSR Steel manufacturing company, a company which has has risen to the top according to sales through the end of 2010 and surpassed the mid-sized companies. She once admitted that she did not know that her family was rick until she was able to read an article about it. She says that she only knew the name of the company of her father but did not have any idea how much it was worth. Due to this hot topic, she was given the nickname “Umchinddal (Perfect daughter).” A nickname that she found to be a burden because of the pressure it imposed, one of which was the rumor that she became a celebrity under the power of her father’s wealth.

Hobbies and Interests:

Hong Yoo Kyung loves to dance even when she was younger. In fact, during her study years abroad in America, she was a cheerleader. She was also discovered and recruited as a member of A Pink at a dance academy when her team won first place. Aside from dancing, she also enjoys baking, watching others eat, playing the piano / viola and answering sudoku puzzles. Her favorite food include bread, cheese and western food. She doesn’t have a particular favorite color while her favorite number is two.

She considers BoA as one of her role models and hope to be like her in the future. She describes herself as quiet and neat and honest. She says that she is more of a lives a very proper lifestyle. Namjoo even calls her “a walking alarm clock.” She admits to not being very expressive about her feelings.
