Kim Nam Joo was one of the last members of A Pink to be introduced before the group’s debut. She was introduced along side fellow member Bomi. She was able to join through the 2010 Cube Party.
Nam Joo attended Dong Myung for kindergarten, Won Myung for Elementary School, Seoil Middle School and is taking her High School in Seoul Art High School. Like fellow member Ha Young, Nam Joo is the only child in her family.
Hobbies and Interests:
Things that Namjoo enjoys doing include imitating other people, co-ordinating with people, studying, dancing, and singing. She also enjoys eating. Some of her favorite dishes include spicy chicken, pork and kimchi stew made by her mother. Her favorite colors are purple and pink while her favorite number is three. She enjoys watching sad and mystery movies. She admits to her bad habits which includes imitating other people as well as saying “ah, eh, ee, oh, oo” habitually. Her reason behind this repeated phrase is that she believed that her chant can get rid of the swelling on her face.
Nam Joo’s specialty includes playing the Jazz Piano. She and her group describes her as a very bright and active girl. She is also described as an outgoing type of person. She is the 2nd best English speaker in the group and proclaims that she speaks chinese better than fellow member naeun. She was also once selected to represent A pink for 2012 Idol Swimming Competition (recorded on 120107)
She also admits to being a fan of Super Junior’s Ryeowook and F.Cuz’s Raehyun. Her ideal type includes a man with no double eyelids who has a good facial expression. Her Role models include S.E.S, FIN K.L., Lee Hyori. For her group, she hopes to be like S.E.S or Fin K.L while as an individual, she hopes to be entertainer like Lee Hyori. In fact, she is a very hard worker. She is described as one of the members who have improved the most. Bomi describes her: “Namjoo. Her talents didn’t shine as brightly in our debut album, but now she’s in full bloom. She has a way of singing deliciously, and she also got a lot of parts in our new album. She’s always rehearsing, and I think her efforts are finally seeing the light now.”
