Even though the press conference was delayed for almost 2 hours, the excitement to meet Wonder Girls never faded away. On October 13, 2012 KoreanUpdates once again was given the opportunity to meet the Queen of Kpop, Wonder Girls.

Wonder Girls that goes worldwide with their hits single, Nobody. From being a catchy song to cute dance, Nobody is phenomenal. Not being exaggerated but believe it or not, Nobody introduced KPOP to the world. Their latest comeback song “Like This” is being compared to Beyonce’s Single Ladies, either in Korea or America; Wonder Girls still Queen of kpop.

Wonder Girls’ member Sunye, the leader, Yenny, Yubin, Hye Lim and Sohee came to Malaysia for their Wonder World Tour in Kuala Lumpur 2012. They came freshly dressed to the press conference with big smiles and greeting “Apa Khabar(how are you)?” to the media.

Without further delay, let’s check out our interview with Wonder Girls below!

Q: This is the third time you came to Malaysia. How do you feel this time?

Yenny: We feel great and Malaysia always gives wonderful time to us.

Q: Wonder World has visited Malaysia this time, is there any chance for JYP Nation?

Yenny: Honestly, we have nothing in plan for JYP Nation to hold in here yet but we love to.

Q: Recently, Sunye opened up about her relationship to public, is other members jealous of it? The rumors spread that you are getting married, is it true?

Sunye: My relationship is great (laugh). Other members are supportive to me and jealousy was never an issue. And thank you to the fans too, they are also being supportive to me. About marriage, that’s not true but when the right time has come I will definitely share it to public.

Q: Recently Wonder Girls releases a movie, what is the difference between being a singer and an actress?

Yenny: All of us, except Sohee, that was the first time we were acting. It’s so different between acting and singing but we enjoyed it very much. Plus, we’ve got a chance to spend more time together and know each other better. It was wonderful a experience.

Q: For tonight’s concert, are there any special performances?

Sunye: We have special outfits tonight and we have only worn it here at Malaysia.

Q: Who is your favorite artist that you would like to collaborate with?

Hye Lim: Akon.

Sunye: For me, it will be Beyonce.

Yenny : Usher (Laugh)

Yubin: I love Katy Perry.

Sohee: Rihanna.

Q: Wonder Girls has been involved in music industry for quite a time, what is your hardest challenge so far?

Yenny: For us, perhaps when we debut in America. We need to learn the language, culture and the music industry itself. But we do love it.

Q: So many groups have debuted. What do you do to maintain your popularity?

Hye Lim: We always try to come up with better music and most importantly stay as ourselves.

Sunye: We love the new groups, it gives kpop more colors.

Q: This question special for Hye Lim, people know that you are fan of One Direction. Who is your favorite member? And if you meet him, what would you do?

Hye Lim: (Laugh and shy). I love all the members but if I have to choose, I will choose Louis Tomlinson. I would like to have lunch with him. (Laugh) Yes, only lunch.

Q: Among the new idol groups, who is your favorite?

Yenny: We said this not because to promote them or because we come from the same company, but we love JJ project. We hope you guys love to their song too.

Q: If you are given a chance to act, what kind of movie or drama that you like to act?

Hye Lim: I love to act in romantic comedy and a family kind of drama.

Sunye: I like to act in action movie.

Yenny: Same as me, I would like to act in action movie. I love cat woman.

Yubin: This is going to be a competition, I also love action movie.

Sohee: I would like to act as teenage girl with school uniform.

 Q: Can you tell us more about your concert tonight?

Yenny: For tonight concert we will sing a song from our debut to our latest single. We prepared different stages, different outfits for tonight. Please look forward to it.

Sunye: We would like to show our gratitude to you guys who came for today, thank you for always being supportive to us and please enjoy yourself tonight. We will show you the best stage.
