On the airing of  MBC’s Miss & Mister Idol Korea Contest, 2PM’s Wooyoung and Kara’s Goo Hara beat the other contestants and have been chosen as the most popular idols.

Miss & Mister Idol Korea Contest is a program that chose the smartest and most beautiful Miss and Mister Idol among popular Korean idols. Around eight girl groups including Kara, 4minute, Secret, Orange Caramel, and A Pink, and around eight boy groups including 2PM, Mblaq, FT Island, and ZE:A have participated in the show. To pick out the contestants ans winners, the idols  showed off their elegance in their dresses and suits.

For Mister Idol Korea, Mblaq’s Lee Joon and Teen Top’s Niel have been chosen as the runners-up in the Idol Korea Contest. 2PM’s Wooyoung took the first place. Upon receiving the crowned he said:  “I would like to share this glory with the members of 2PM.”

And for the women’s category, Miss Idol Korea was awarded to Kara’s Goo Hara. Upon being crowned queen, she said:  “I was happy that I was even registered as a candidate, but now I am delighted because I actually was chosen as the queen!” Kara’s Nicole and A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji were the runners-up.
