We previously reported that there were some problems with the released of Sean Kingston song “Ready or Not” since the song is similar to SHINee’s song.
Now Michael Mind Project released an statement about the issue in their YouTube channel.
“Dear bloggers. We followed your controversy discussion with great interest and decided to give you some more information about the background of the track: the original (called “girls”)has been written early 2010 in finland. We loved the track from scratch and offered to produce it.SHINees label did the same and has been able to cut it first. We agreed with the writers to do an adaption of the original with Sean Kingstons voice.Hence, we haven’t stole anything.Rave safely, the michael mind project”
About the situation I still have one question, why they named the song “Ready or Not”? and not “Girls” like the original name. If they did not stole anything why out of so many possible names they named it just like SHINee’s song. I know that throughout the whole song they repeat “Ready or Not” but still.
Well they must of had their reasons right? and please shawols don’t get too angry about a future incident like this.
